HARPSICHORDS

Two-manual harpsichord after Michael Mietke
Between 1718 and 1719, Mietke built a two-manual harpsichord for the Koethener Hof. This is probably the instrument that Johann Sebastian Bach personally ordered from him and for which he composed the 5th Brandenburg Concerto.
This harpsichord model impresses with a warm, singing sound.
